The only true "alternative fuel" vehicle on the GreenAuto Approved Vehicle List, the Honda Civic CNG is a pioneer in the green industry. The Civic CNG is rated highly in both the greenhouse gas and air pollution categories, with the biggest drawback being its fuel economy. However, it is hard to compare this vehicle to either hybrids or gas vehicles, and probably deserves a category of its own.
